现代的老师，有哪些是这正因为热爱教育而来教书的呢？我坦白说，我们都很幸运，在华中的老师虽然有很多上课没有幽默感，可是多数的老师愿意帮助学生成长。不相信我你可以跟其他学校比一比。问题就是你要不要跟那个老师沟通：很多学生因为没有跟老师讲话或问他一些问题，而就认为这个老师是个外星人。因热爱教育而去教书的人真是很难找。很多人读完了书，想要当博士，律师，医生，搞创意的东西，因为这些工作的薪水很高。做老师虽然赚的钱是很低，如果热爱教育学者，你哪儿会管钱？

当然，我要谴责某些现代的学生。很多学生很像在家里没有受过什么道德教育，连尊敬老师都不会。也有一些很像没有被父母骂过的学生，真是无聊。他们以为现在新加坡是较高等的发展中国家，有人权，一被老师骂或说些不顺耳的话语，就立刻冲到朋友那儿讲老师的坏话。你以为你是谁？受西方红毛人影响就不需要尊师重道？？我不是要你把老师的话当成金科玉律，但是如果你把老师当成老师，至少当他是你的朋友吧。
